30 Years Ago: Back To The Future

Happy birthday to one of my favourite films of all time – Back to the Future. The original sci-fi comedy was released on 3 July 1985 when I was about two years of age. I grew up with it being watched in our house about three-four times a year for the next sixteen odd years. And it still gets pretty regular play by me now! OK, now I sound mental but man it’s cool. And so funny. No wonder that Time Out recently named it one of the best movies of the 80s also, check out the rest of the list here – http://www.timeout.com/london/film/the-30-best-80s-movies

It’s also worth noting that we are now in the year that Marty and Doc flew to in the first sequel – though we have to wait until 22 October before we all apparently start dressing like Griff and his gang. “What happens to us in the future Doc, do we become assholes or something?” Yep, seems so.
