New Cast Additions to Star Wars Episode VII

For all those complaining about Daisy Ridley being the only new female cast member of Star Wars Episode VII, stick this in your pipe – Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie have been added to the cast. Gwendoline Christie is best known for her role in Games of Thrones. I’ve never actually watched Game of Thrones (I know, I know) but I understand all the die-hard fans of that show are excited to hear that news.

I personally love that Lupita Nyong’o is on board, who won an Oscar this year for her role of Patsey in Steve McQueen’s 12 Years A Slave; starring alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor and Michael Fassbender. Her career is quite exciting, going from relative unknown to Oscar winner and Star Wars alumnus all in one year! Not to mention the fact that she’s one of the dudes in Ellen DeGeneres’ most tweeted selfie ever (also from this year’s Oscars ceremony). Congrats to both actresses!
